Shakespeare for Schools

2010-2011 Schedule

Through SFS presentations, Shakespeare's words and characters are presented live-the way that Shakespeare was meant to be experienced. 120 minute matinee performances of Shakespeare's plays are performed by professional actors at our theater in Midtown Manhattan.

Touring Schedule

HAMLET, director Dennis Turney

This troupe of seven, professional, multi-ethnic actors travels to your school and enacts a 70 minute version of Macbeth. Post show talk-backs with the cast.

Study guide is provided. Past presentations have included Othello, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Julius Caesar and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Travel fees will apply if outside of the 5 boroughs

Touring Presentations

SFS tours to area schools and include workshop and talkback sessions. Past presentations include: Othello, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar,Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Presentation requirements include a large, open space such as an auditorium or cafeteria. Study guides are distributed in conjunction with each presentation.
